Strict control of feed size

Many production personnel always use the measured feed opening size as the maximum feed size. Therefore, the raw material exceeding the prescribed large particle diameter can easily block the cavity. Therefore, strict control of the particle size of the raw materials is one of the most important prerequisites to ensure the normal operation of the jaw crusher.

Strictly control the feeding amount

Many enterprises have technically modified the silo because of insufficient initial feed and severely affected production. However, due to the lack of devices that restrict the amount of feed, the remodeled silo often has an overcorrection phenomenon, that is, excessive feed.

Because the working principle of jaw breaking is semi-rhythmic work, if too much material is put in, it will cause the material to be broken too late, and the broken material cannot be eliminated in time, resulting in material jam. Therefore, both material breakage and overfeeding will affect the productivity of jaw breaking.

Rhythmic feeding

At present, the crushing section of the beneficiation enterprise mostly uses end chute to feed, 2/3 of the entire feeding equipment or even the whole is exposed outside the warehouse. Due to the remote feeding port, the feeding equipment has become a vibration chute. Feeding speed is poor and wear is severe. The optimal feeding position of the miner should be within 1/3 of the top of the equipment, but vertical feeding is strictly prohibited to prevent the equipment from losing its vibration ability under compression or affecting the conveying effect.

In particular, the use of dump trucks to directly discharge the material, the disadvantages of vertical feeding are more serious. Therefore, how to adjust the angle of the feed bin to ensure that the feed is smooth and not pressed, so that the rhythm of the miner and the processing rhythm of the jaw crusher match, is the technical guarantee of normal feeding.

Adjust feeder angle

Vibrating feeders are often equipped with purlins and have some screening functions. However, in practical applications, due to amplitude, feeding angle and other reasons, the device is prone to block the purlins during screening, which makes it lose its original efficiency. Faced with this situation, many companies blocked the purlin with steel plates and turned them into a plate-type miner.

In fact, under the condition of proper adjustment, the efficiency of vibration to the purlin of the miner is extremely obvious. Adjusting the amplitude and the angle of the miner to fully release the screening function of the miner is the best way to improve the total throughput.

Reasonable adjustment of jaw breaking discharge mouth and bite angle

The size of the ore outlet of the jaw crusher determines the processing capacity of the equipment. Jaw crushing is often used as a coarse crushing device. The size of the discharge opening should be based on the optimal feed size of the second stage crushing. The size of the discharge opening cannot be arbitrarily increased or decreased.

The adjustment of the phasing angle (the angle between the movable jaw plate and the fixed jaw plate) needs to be strictly performed, and it is generally within the range of 17 ~ 26 ° (the actual situation shall prevail).
